I just got off the phone with the pre-op nurse at Abbott to discuss our "birth plan" of sorts. We go in at 9:30am on Friday, August 31st to meet our little girls... who FINALLY have names. Meet Baby A (Hazel Verna) & Baby B (Svea Mae)!
We should be in surgery & recovery for about 3 hours. We are the only people allowed in the recovery room so please do not plan on visiting until you hear from us!
Speaking of, Jorgen will be the gate keeper & his phone # is 612-709-7242 - please call him prior to visiting. We'd love to see you all but we might need a little rest in between visitors!
In other news, both girls received 10 out of 10 on Thursday at their appointment - Dr. Nadeau couldn't be more pleased with how well they're doing! According to their growth ultrasound, we're looking at almost 5lb babies. Hazel is estimated to be 4 lbs, 13 oz, Svea is 4 lbs, 8 oz.
We go back in on Thursday to see them again & hopefully score perfectly again! 34 weeks will be marked on Thursday & Dr Nadeau feels that once we get to this point, if they decide to make their appearance early, they most likely will not try to postpone labor.
Nursery is all set, carseats are all set - only things left are, find a pediatrician & pack our suitcase!
